Jan Cass

I specialize in residential, second mountain home properties, new home, and land sales in Colorado Springs and surrounding areas. My real estate career began with new home sales in 1992. I have 25 years experience in sales and customer service.

I graduated from Texas Tech University (Go Red Raiders) with a degree in corporate communications. I recently completed training to become one of only a few Realtors in Colorado Springs with the coveted "Institute of Luxury Home Marketing Membership" title, of which I am very proud. I'm also a Graduate of Realtor Insititute (GRI), Graduate of Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR), earned a QSC (Quality Service Certificate), received a Luxury Home Professional status (LHP), earned the Certified Distressed Property Expert designation (CDPE), Earned the Certified Negotiation Expert (CNE) designation and am trained as a Realtor®.

My husband of 35 years retired after 23 years in the Air Force, so I am a relocation expert. Over the years we have moved our family 13 times! We have two wonderful daughters. Laura is a graduate of Texas A&M (go Aggies!) and is married and gave us two grandchilrend - Allison and Ryanl!! Leslie is a graduate of Colorado State University (go Rams!!) and studied abroad in Florence, Italy (who gets a degree from studying "Italian Wine" and "Mediterranean Cooking"?!?) 

My hobbies include spinning, yoga, pilates, cooking, decorating and acting and singing. I enjoy volunteering for many non-profits in the Colorado Springs area. I am also Vice President on the board of HBA Cares - a non porfit assisting with housing needs of the community. Our signature project was building a 11 bedroom house for cancer patients and their families when their loved ones are at Penrose Hospital called the John Zay Guest House. I have currently organized a RE/MAX "Giving Tree Project" to benefit CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) kids who are in foster care receive special gifts purchased by agents in my office at ReMax Properties, Inc..
